In this uncertain time, the health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority. Our work at Certified Radio puts us face-to-face with customers on a daily basis and it is important our high level of quality service remains unchanged in the light of the COVID-19(coronavirus) outbreak.
To that effect, we are enacting a series of measures intended to keep our staff, customers and communities safe. Here is what we are doing:
- Asking staff who are feeling unwell, suspect they’ve been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or have recently travelled outside of Canada for more than 24 hours to self-isolate for 14 days. Staff who have not done this or have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus will not be allowed to return to work.
- Rescheduling appointments with customers that have been out of the province, been in contact with someone exposed to the COVID-19 virus or currently in self-quarantine for 14 days later.
- Allowing our staff to keep a distance of 2 meters from people.
- Equipping all technicians and front-line staff with updated sanitization and safety products.
- Asking staff to wear mechanics’ gloves while examining vehicles during the pre-check-in and check-out process.
- Wiping down all point of sale systems, computer keyboards and telephones, soundboard buttons, sales counters, door handles and doorknobs with Lysol as often as needed. Prior to starting an install, technicians will be wiping down any areas they expect to handle inside the vehicle (i.e. steering wheels, gear shifts).
- Keeping kitchen utensils, plates and glasses strictly off-limits until further notice.
- Following the guidance of major public health organizations, including the Public Health Agency of Canada, local health authorities, and the World Health Organization, and will continue to do so as the situation unfolds.
For now, our 1 location at Westside remains open.
